Hello. For 33 consecutive years I’ve been incarcerated while serving a life without parole sentence. However, recently that sentence was reduced and now I’m immediately eligible for parole sometime this year. Wow, huh? For 33 years I felt useless, depressed, and invisible to the world. Besides my family, my life had no meaning, there really was nothing else to live for, and I contemplated suicide many times. But, not long ago I realized my purpose that God bestowed upon me, which is to help other people who feel like they are not enough, or useless, or depressed, or like they don’t have a voice, or feel invisible in their life. I came through the most important parts of it, and know that others can too. I’m still learning; sometimes we just need the right encouragement from the right people.
So I’m really looking for people who are willing to get personal and vulnerable with their hearts, minds, and their life experiences, people who can learn from me and who I can learn from.
