Hello,
My name is Shawn, and I hope that we can make a connection. I am a fun loving, down to earth person who has a huge passion for sailing and the outdoors. I grew up around horses and livestock, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that’s all I am, as I am just as comfortable at an art gallery as I am in the saddle 🙂
I enjoy all kinds of activities, from listening to music (all genres), dancing, gaming; to sailing (as previously mentioned), to rebuilding classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles, and most recently, painting landscapes (see included photo). I also served in the United States Army as an Infantryman, stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
Since being incarcerated, I had a lot of time on my hands, and instead of falling into the fallacy of banging dominoes, and cards, I sought out to get the higher education that I never seemed to have the time to achieve when on the other side of the bars. I earned my Associate of Arts degree, and then my Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Communications, and minoring in Business Administration.
My first parole hearing is in October of 2029, and I hope to be given the opportunity to get out and reestablish myself on there again, and build something for myself and what family I have left, as well as contribute positively to society.
